Is it just me. Do I live with the only under 30 planet polluters alive? How long has home recycling been around? Years, right? Well it seems that the younguns I live with, only 2 of them now, didn't get Al "NOBLE PRIZE WINNER" Gore's memo. Today is trash day. Of course, only the man in the house is allowed to put it out, they got THAT memo, as I place the bags at the curb there's that clink, clang of aluminum cans and glass bottle resonating from the filthy trash bag. Do you go in and get 'em or blame it on the yutes? Not that I haven't said a quadzillion times that we need to RECYCLE FOLKS!!!!! We're on our 4th trash hauler and there are no more left in the phone book. Hope this one doesn"t drop us too. Look what the world has come to; the trashmen hold my future in their hands....

I don't know about you but Steve Jobs can take his i-phone and shove it. It slices, dices, chops and grinds but it has this nasty habit of hanging up in mid conversation. ANNOYING PEOPLE those i-phoners. They call you back and say in their i-phone snobbery, "sorry about that, it just hangs up on me." NO KIDDING! I have three descendants who are phoneaholics. New gadget phone comes out; they get it next day. They sit in wait just hoping they're there when an opportunity comes up to use mapquest, google, ask etc. Just waiting to pounce when you say "I'm lost" or "I don't know" Their snobby little voices say,"No problem I can just pull that up on my i-phone..." While you're at it reposition the polar ice caps will ya? Launch any missles lately? Online surgery anyone? Little geeks. I guess you need that power though when you're a high school senior sitting in class. You've already learned everything there is to learn. Maybe you can find a prom dress in Caracas or a facial cleanser from Istanbul. Useful schooltime stuff. The same kid will sit in a room with you for 30 minutes and never say a word; put her in school with an i-phone and you'll get a dozen text messages a day from her. I'd like to lock them in a room with Uncle Lucky for a weekend and they can explain to him how all that i-phone stuff works. Ha, ha, ha. Who hits the wall first, the i-phones, the geek girls or Lucky? SMASH..... Take that Steve Jobs!!!!
