Coco is almost 10 and has never had a Haircut. I am old and have not had a Professional Haircut since 1973. Judy Ann is older than Coco and younger than me and gets a Professinal Haircut about three times a year. She walks into wherever and The Clipping Begins. I could walk into a Barber Shop tommorow and do the same thing.
I found out today that Coco needs an appointment...next available date is August 11!
The Groomer was sort of nasty on the phone, told me if your dog has more than 3 or 4 fleas I will get a call and have to come back and pick up our Coco!
I was assuming that I could walk in with the dog and sit there while they cut her hair. Stupid Me!
You know Jiffy Lube? Supposedly, that company was started on a bet. Some guy had made a fortune on a company he started and sold. His buddies said he was just Lucky...right time/right place...and he wouldn't be able to do it again. The guy started Jiffy Lube and won the bet!
If I can get an appointment with a Major League heart surgeon sooner than I can get an appointment with a Dog Groomer, there must be a market for Jiffy Dog Groomers!
Go figure...

And what "cut" is Madame CoCo going for this summer? I hear the "bob" that Paris Hilton's pooch is sporting is all the rage in the dog parks...
Let's do the math; 3 weeks for an appointment, $80 for a wash, nail clip, ears cleaned, teeth brushed, groomed. 10 year old dog.......
Shoot her, it's cheaper.
