In your Job (TJ, you can ignore this Post ) do you have to have a License, Permit, Permission, Certification, Clearance?

In other words, does your job require you to have a License (issued by a State Body) to do what you do? I have a reason for asking....

Yes. In fact I have to have a different license in any State in which I want to practice and for each level of Federal court (i.e. District Court, Court of Appeals, etc.) I have enough "certificates" to wallpaper the bathroom (actually not a bad idea in case we run short on t.p.).

Yes, I do need a license. Series 7 securities license issued by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). Continuing education credits required.

...do "clearances" count? I have to have PA State Police Child Abuse Clearance & other clearances --so that I can be in the same building with 650+ of Central Pennsylvania's most treasured, special, gifted, protected teenage "darlings" for 180 days a year.
