I was down at the parade today for the first time in my life... Very dissapointed. Way too many drunks, I felt like I was at an Eagles Monday night game. Philly people are losers...
That's the beauty of the "Mummers" everything is so real and has a special scent to it. The Rose Bowl has no song like "Oh dem golden slippers" Made famous by the Mckendry Brothers one new years eve at the ELBOW! Mummers, hands down!!
Does anybody else think the guy in the 1st "square" of the collage resembles Pea? (I didn't know he was a Mummer--mumbler, yes; but Mummer? I did not know that!)
How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
