beetle juice is actually a synopsis on the life of Muhammad, done in a subtle, yet, provacative way! Johnny Depp is not Muhammad, as one may expect. The Depp character is actually portryaing Jesus after the Resurrection! The actor portryaing Muhammad is, in reality, the point of the "film". Mary Magdellan is also one of the more obvious characters that have an "agenda"...it's left to the Movie Goer to both Focus and understand Marys' real purpose...
Beetle Juice is a brilliant, intricate and intelligent "Film" that leaves the Theatre Goer both wondering and Pissed off that they paid $9.00 to see it...
Hey Critic: I am pretty sure that is Michael Keaton playing Beetle and not Johnny Depp. I think Beetlejuice is the one Tim Burton movie that Johnny Depp is not in... Although I have wondered whether Winona Ryder and Johnny Depp are in fact the same person...
$9.00 for a movie?? Are you kiddin' me. We had to go all the way downtown to see "Spartacus" and it only cost $2.50. Broke my heart to pay that. Fortunately, my date had a good job and paid for both of us. Yo, Perverts... $9.00?? You must have more money than brains.
