I think the phrase means the point at which someone goes over-the-top in trying to attract attention (sorta like a 40 something community organizer writing two memoirs). I think the phrase originated as a reference to a Happy Days episode when the producers thought it would be a great idea to have the Fonz jump a shark on his motorcycle to generate a buzz for the show...

Do I win a prize?

No prize but you definetly have too much time to do "research". Get back to work!!

I've never heard that phrase...but I am familiar with the expression..."Sunday,monday, happy days !"

does it really make sense to mention Ryan Howard as a possible MVP candidate? I'm not sure...

Chase Utley should be MVP! It's only right..he's the only consistent player that DOESN'T trash talk about the fans. #26 for MVP. I'm tired of Howard. Rollins- sick of the "high horse". Victornio for MVP!!! ???

Reading the Longgggg Island Times today I came across an article that deserves to be mentioned. NYC investigators have discovered that the same guy manages both the Phillies AND the Mets! My man Manuel.

Has that ever happened before Pea? Hows he do it? Does he ever get his hats mixed up? Does he ever call the wrong bullpen?

No wonder we're in 1st place. He's tankin' the Mets!!!!!!!!

You heard it here first.

Scoop in Lanco.

Once the Investigator, always the Investigator! Slim reads the Long Island Times, research I guess. Hey Slim...one Manuel is pale and the other Manuel is tan...

Back to your Invesigative Manuals !

Yo weirdos... after reading Slim's comments, followed by Pea's response, it appears the "FIX" is in. In view of that, "PUT PETE IN THE HOLE, ehh, HALL!" Bet on it.
