I don't blame the guy. He's political prisoner in America. There are plenty of nice countries who are more than willing to pay a guy like him, with his needed skills, i.e. the ability to place a 12" ball through a 14" hoop, about $18mill to $40mill a year. If the poor guys ancestors weren't sold into slavery by other native tribes 300 years ago he'd be just as blessed with an opulent lifestyle in Nairobi, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon or some other prosperous African country.
did you notice that his Agent, the team Pres & the team owner had no response? They are huddled today at a Starbucks somewhere saying "What the !@#$...how do we handle this"?
Cut the guy some slack. It wasn't like he held a press conference to announce that he hated the national anthem. He was joking with his friend on a private tape.
Who would ever think that a private tape could go public like that?
