when you see the interviews with these guys, they really seem like good guys. when will Michael Barkan run out of questions?
If anyone would like me to meet Keelan and I at the parade call or email me...717-475-8995 mauram85@aol.com It would be fun to get a group of us together and head to the same place! I figure once we're down there there will be no finding one another...this is all pending the OK for a day off from my boss. I have never called off sick, never had a day off, never been late...I am waiting to hear back from him!
I can't get a Philly Daily News or Inquirer in Lancaster!! What few there were got sold out immediately.
Uncle Lucky is gonna try and hook me up so I can send the papers to our exiled Greensboro NC kids and grandkids.
Anybody sending a copy to Sam & Kelly? There's nothing like reading the local writers after a championship game. Gotta keep those Philly roots alive for the next, next generation.
Awesome night... I was at the Fieldhouse Bar in Center City for the game. We had three tables reserved in front of two huge TV's. After the game, we went down to Broad and Walnut. It was crazy, people were climbing the traffic light poles, tearing down Phillies flags, shooting huge fireworks off in the middle of the street and people were break dancng in the middle of the street. Started to get a little crazy so we headed out of that area and walked to City Hall. While at City Hall, there were these huge flat bed trucks blasting music. People were shirtless waving rally towels over their heads. Got home around 2:00am and I made it to work by 9:00. Took off tomorrow, gonna party all day. GO EAGLES!!!
For the last 31 years of my life I have been listening to my dad say "How 'bout them Phillies?" atleast once a week so I am thrilled that they have ended on top! I would LOVE to go to the parade but it might be a bit much for Aiden to handle at only 3 weeks old!
We couldn't get the Inquirer/Daily News out here in Lancaster... Even though 350,000 extra copies were printed! Did anyone get any extras???? We need to add to our Phillies Shrine! The Zee Family
