My Sister & the 2008 Sugarless Soda Bread

It has been almost three months and I have got to get this off my chest... I REALLY look forward to Alyce's soda bread during the Christmas season. BUT, we were told that in making the 2008 version she "Forgot" to add the sugar. The 2008 version was ok...I just didn't Love it. Something was missing. Anyone else notice this?
  • Do you believe she truly "Forgot" the sugar? or...
  • Do you believe she was attempting to make us eat healthier?
Should we send her a 5 pound bag of sugar around Thanksgiving Day this year? ...jus' assin'

Yo... Weirdos!!! This is March Madness time why are we still talking about Christmas?? NCAA tourney!!! How about a little pool. Are the "Red Flash" still in it?? How about the "Explorers"? Or the "Owls' or Mountaineers from Mt St Mary's? Forget soda bread, we need hot dogs, Nachos and Pizza.

I find it quite interesting that this post is just days before St. Patrick's Day. You never know, she may get the idea to make some soda bread for St. Patty's Day! IF there's any leftovers, I'll send them your way.

I think I know who, whom, Diabetic is! And from what I know...
Diabetic is a Closet Chocolate Eater! A "CCE"! I always suspected that it was Diabetic that Raided the Easter Baskets of his Siblings!

I should know, I slept next to him and at Easter time his breathe always smelled of coconut & chocolate!

I am not making this up!

Ditto, Pea....see my previous rant. As4me I refuse, from this moment thru perpetooity tu allow a sugarles, or razinless soda bread ever touch my melodic lips again. To prove she has corrected the greevius error it would influence this sampler's opinion greatly if she would get off the couch, put away the chocolate cherries, turn off Okra and make something of herself in retirement.....MAKE SOME DAMN SODA BREADS... with sugar (one w/ot)...and do it fast!!!!! Then give em to Dutch and send him east (we'll pay for tolls..one way). He can stay overnight at Mary's. She said she'll get up even earlier to mkae him a big breakfast. There will be no sugar anywhere in her house as she is maniacully devoted to her huzzy's health. So, off the couch, into the Kitchen and direct Dutch EAST and pack him a little sugar for his morning cereal. That's all..get goin'!!!!!!!
