Dateline Saturday, 5/23/09...The Pitcher you bring in in the 8th inning Strikes out three of the four batters he faces. So, in the 9th Inning you replace that Pitcher with a sore kneed one and we lose the Game...Go Figure
Charlie wants Lidge to know he has confidence in him. Win or Lose Charlie does not change. I, too, thought it was not a good move and then "Lights Out" walks the first batter he faces. YIKES!!
How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
