- So, is everyone that goes to "The Shack" for Head Phones considered a Fool?
All they had were wireless head phones designed for computer use. I hate wireless Head Phones!
- I then went to "Staples" and that was an even worse adventure...
The young Sales people looked at me like I had three heads when I told them that I need head phones to watch TV!

as a fellow hearing-challenged family member, let me suggest these headphones for you. I use them for recording and I love 'em. You can get them on Amazon and never have to leave your house.
Song MDR 7506....here's a link to Amazon (good price). You'll pay about $85 but they are worth it.

IMPORTANT - don't forget to order a headphone extension cord (available at the bottom of the page above) because these headphones have a coiled cord and you don't want to stretch it too far from your TV.
That's all I know about headphones...good luck.
Edphone sounds like he has a plan for ya!
Thanks for the tip Edphone. Problem is I have never bought anything on Amazon. I will give it a shot!
Pea: GO FOR IT on Amazon!
Even I have "shopped" @ Amazon!
What?? You were shopping online?? Whatever happened to the list of No-No's I gave you in 1964??
Great post Paul...love to see that "no-no list" from 1964!
Pea, They are Sony MDR 7506 and the price is correct, $84.99. I couldn't figure out who my PAY-PAL was so I cancelled my order and payment. I'll stick with the soup cans and a string.
