That picture is too precious! Look at the look of enjoyment on Mother's face as she admires her "Little Bootsiega, Bootsiega, Bootsiega"! (I'm not sure HOW she would have spelled it; I just know it was her pet name for 'Dward.)
1958, he was 3!!! I don't think if Ed Sullivan was on TV he would have been watching & I don't believe he would have gotten any influence from the Big Band sounds of the 50's. Elvis didn't show up Nationally 'til 1960, the Beatles in 1963. Was he secretly listening to Chuck Berry albums in Alyce's room, which they shared for at least two years?
How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
