I am headed to Tenn on Monday to see Forrest & Carol. These are some of the things Forrest is suggesting...UGH!

Hey Gerry,

How do you want to play?

Here are some fun things in the area.

  *   Hike to Laurel Falls and swim
  *   Bicycle in the area
     *   Beautiful farmland—moderate hills
     *   Bike the Virginia Creeper trail out of Abington or downhill only from Damascus
  *   Abington’s Barter Theater

  *   Ashville trip
     *   Via Blue Ridge or via Rt 26
     *   Biltmore estate
     *   Craft store on the Blue Ridge or downtown
     *   Lunch at the Grove Park Inn
  *   White water rafting on Nolichucky
  *   Lunch trip to Jonesborough (Oldest town in TN)
  *   You could be my guest at ETSU’s gym.
  *   Downhome- Bluegrass music
  *   Glass blowing demo per Jamie
  *   Introductions to our grandchildren
When you leave and since you won’t be going to Naples, consider a side trip to Charlestown SC

your friend,  Forrest

I'd stick with the biking and whitewater stuff; more in line with your lifestyle. You could hurt something touring Biltmore.

How incredible that he would know exactly what your "hobbies & interests" are...sounds like tons of fun!

I agree with "Travels"--does Forrest know you, or what?

Have a great trip, y'all!

Tenn is bordered by 8 other States...more than any other State. This was brought to my attention by TJ & was a great Topic over Dinner w/ Forrest, Carol, their daughters/in-laws/grandkids! Carol even brought out the Atlas!
They did figure the States out, w/out the Atlas.
Great Topic TJ!!!
