Your chili IPO was COMPLETELY eaten. You jinxed yourself when you proclaimed "THIS IS THE GREATEST RECIPE FOR CHILI!" over and over again.
You were on the former home range of one Mr. William Zee, the same Mr. Zee of the famous "Willy's Chili" the reigning 10 time champion of the 180 CHILI COOKOFF contest. Some humility on your part PRIOR TO serving your culinary concoction may have been a prudent decision on your part. Couple that with the fact that you were observed reading directions FROM THE CAN LABEL diminishes the epicurial impact that your Chili IPO (initial public offering) was expected to have.
