Cherry Springs State Park, Pennsylvania
locations to watch the Stars
Five hours west of New York City, this favorite spot of amateur astronomers has some of the darkest skies east of the Mississippi. The 82-acre park is in the middle of the 265,000-acre Susquehannock State Forest, shielded from city lights by miles of hills and trees.

When are you going???
After a V&C at cocktail hour Pea sees these every night.
I did Google Map the place. Looks like Altoona Pa would be more exciting to visit. I think I'll just look for the Northern Lights from my Patio
