DISGUSTING!!!!!! Across America there are rarely taught in high schools anymore, especially in public schools, Civics, Government, Current Political Affairs and like titled courses. Forget any Comparative Govt. courses or at least, Democracy: What does it mean & what is structure of American Govt.....any wonder? But World History is part of most curricula and having been forced to teach it I can say w/ authority students have NO connection or willingness/motivation to be even slightly interested. Often asked, "why do we have to take this course, I hate it"..end of depressing subject.....
PS: possibly BILLIONS will be spent from many areas on the next presidential election.....but states & federal govts. continue to reduce funding for education (which includes medical research as well). Keep the masses ignorant and the 'few $$$' will continue to gather more authority and control the economy.....and encourage the masses to argue issues and part over their own self interests..... But, I digress........
How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
