And now we find out that Anna
has 2 flat tires
and 2 broken rims in
someplace called Purdy, NY
On her drive back to Boston!
I checked. And this is the only Photo
I have of Anna riding in a vehicle.
Uh oh! I found this about Purdys Town!
Purdy's best friend John Ueker did not attend Mr Purdys
funeral. Actually, no one attended
Mr Purdys Funeral.
But we @ Culture News & Views
are pretty darn sure that Mr Purdy is dead.
We did reach out to Mr Ueker for a comment
but have not, as yet, heard from Mr Ueker.
And it has been 6 years since we
reached out for a comment.

That is a busy, festive Thanksgiving schedule. I'd like to hear more details about a few of the things you mentioned. Speaking of getting home safely, Anna is driving back to Boston today. She hit a pothole on Rte. 684 in New York and ended up with TWO flat tires, on the left side. So far, getting back on the road is going OK. NY State Police sat with her til the tow truck came. But, just found out she has TWO bent rims as well and the car wont be ready until Tuesday. Looks like I'm driving to Purdy, NY. Oh well, she's safe. Happy Thanksgiving...
Well that's a mess! Does she have AAA? How far is Purdy, NY from Allentown? Can she rent a car? Where is Anna gonna hang out
until you get to Purdy? I hope it's not at the tow truck garage cause Anna's too pretty! Oh boy! so many questions.

You are correct TJ. My last contact with EJM was that he was just South of Purdy! About 40 minutes away.
Dad's plan is to drive Anna to Boston. Sleep over. Return to the garage in Purdy to check on the progress
of the repairs. Return to Allentown, rent a car and drive back to the garage in Purdy. In Purdy, Dad will drop off the Rental
and drive Anna's repaired car to the Boston area. From Boston, Dad will catch a train to New York City, where Dad
will then Hop on a Greyhound Bus bound for Allentown, Where Susan will drive to and pick up EJM!
No Problemo!
I do hear that part of New York is very Purdy this time of the year.
Anna Update: she handled it all. NY State Police arrived and sat with her until a tow truck arrived. Towed her car to a tire dealer (Mavis?) where they found not only 2 left-side tires flat but both rims were bent. They did not have her rims/wheels in stock and if she wanted new ones, it would be ready on Tuesday. They were real nice to her and tried to fix the wheels by heating them up and basically making them "round" again. The big question was, would it hold air. They were able to get that done and they sent Anna on her way. She drove from Purdy to Boston at a conservative 60 miles per hour and arrived home (four floor walk-up, four unpacking trips to her car...) after a 12 hour trip. Normally a 5 or 6 hour trip.
We are real proud of her, not an easy day.

She's made of good stock, obviously..Nice to hear that the Trooper stood by, while Anna waited for tow truck..Way to handle your business, Anna.. take tomorrow off!
Hello hello dear family! Unfortunately, I am sitting at work now with a lot to do - ugh! crazy crazy day yesterday. Very glad to have made it back in one piece!
I am going to call a few garages today/tomorrow to see if I can get 2 new rims within the next week or two. Told my boss about it and thankfully she understood everything so if I need a morning or two to get my car serviced, she said that would be fine!
I know a guy in California who can hook you up with rims. He'll also spray paint your car to look like a SEPTA subway car. Lemme know if you want his name Anna.
I think I might have his number! But I'll let ya know :)
