But it got me to thinking, what does Brett Brown have against Jahlil Okafor?
Okafor got to play pretty much just one year.
I think he was 19 or 20 & he averaged 18pts per game & 7 rebounds!
So how come Brown refuses to play him today?
And why do the 6er's allow him to wallow on the bench?

PEa, it is all about the business side of the game. They owe him 5 or 6 $ million under his rookie contract. Probably per year. If they trade him they want an experienced player and a high draft pick. The other teams are aware of his situation and are reluctant to give up a high draft pick and an experienced player. The Sixers don't want to play him and risk an injury. He will become a free agent after this year but is on a rookie contract. Ok afore is fully aware of what is going on. He simply says "I joust want to play. This Sucks." Best solution is an injury and some team will need the help. Doesn't look good. Terrible situation for a good young man.
Strange. If they wanted to keep him healthy to trade him they missed that boat last summer. Teams won’t offer anything for a guy they know you don’t want. Very, Very strange.
I agree with what you say Dutch but it must be driving him & his Dad crazy! Practice time is not Game time experience.
He's a free agent at the end of the year and will probably play 10 + years and make another
$80 mill and score a lot of points. He's still only about 21 anyway...besides, since he can't play any defense and has little understanding of defense he's a liability. Check out the +/- ratings of players, why score 15 and give up 15 and think you're a star? He'll be considered a star on another team but his first year told them he wouldn't get better and they now have guys who are more effective in a team game....he needs the ball to be effective. Not a good passer either and the O seems to stop when he gets the ball in the post. Pro Ball is cold hearted because it has to be......BIG BIG bucks.....Nobody asked by that's my 5cents.
