Brett Brown is a delightful celebrity coach. He respects the press and the job they try to do unlike many other ahole coaches who act like the sport is too technical for mere mortals to comprehend. He's a 5 star in terms of understanding his players' individual skills and utilizing them to best help the team and allow the players to shine. The ultimate compliment is that the players respect and want to perform for him. That's the toughest aspect of NBA coaching. Imagine how challenging it was for him the years they were tanking and he had Div 1 midlevel talent to coach. He worked then like they had a chance every night. Players respect that. A proud product of South Portland ME, son of a high school coach. The real deal.
