How far can you walk?

Walking paths are great.

But they really don't provide a measure.

A real track is a measure...
Problem is, you have to climb a fence to get on a real
track today.

When I lived in Phila, me & Coco used to walk
the Wissahickon trail

& also walk the local High School track and go up and down their stands.

In Lancaster, you cannot go near a High School any day of the week
without getting chased away!

So I'm not sure know how far I can walk.

There are Apps for your phone that measure how far you walked.

But you’d need a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly long cord.

Reminds me of Mrs. Lentz at the Feltonville Rec. She refused to open the gates on Christian holidays and she reserved the indoor court for days when she was "in the mood".....I guess it really was owned privately....always thought mistakenly, that it was owned by the public and financed by the public....as the high schools are today........I thought.

BTW: one day when I climbed the fence and was practicing bball, alone, I watched a couple guys climb over when one of then slipped and was hanging with his arm caught on the spikes at the top.....screaming and yelling. His friends climbed up and lifted him off the spikes and I helped him down....very bloody. A neighbor called the police & they took him away....
today, Lentz & the city would be sued heavily..... 'life in the city'.
