- real stuffing requires a 2 day "prep time"
- real stuffing requires real Eggs
- real stuffing requires 2 Loaves of Bread
- and at least 3 Onions
- Stove Top requires a Microwave
and a "Buy 3 Get 1 Offer!" and you may get the wrong stuffing for the wrong Bird! if you don't read the label...

Edward McKendry's do the real stuff....best part of Thanksgiving, way better than the turkey!
Happy Thanksgiving to all the BM's and Alyce and all their families!
wife of blaze
I think we do the real stuff. I say that because there is no cardboard box inside the turkey when I carve it.
I won't mention which one but one of my lovely daughters invited us for a turkey dinner and when we arrived the house smelled like plastic. Toxic plastic. Yep, she left the gizzards and other sundry parts in the bag when she put it in the oven. She has gotten much better over the years.
Not to be confused with the year 2 of my pregnant daughters opened the front door and were staring at an 8 point deer on the front lawn about 25 feet from the all glass storm door.
They started screaming, the dog was barking. They let the one eyed dog out. He barked away until he realized how big it was and shut up. The deer froze as I shut the interior door while visions of a 200 pound deer crashing through my front door gorging my 2 expectant daughters to shreds ran through my head.
That was the year after our 3 year old oven burst into flames and we had to drag it out onto the back porch while smoke and flames billowed from the darn thing. Used up 2 extinguishers puttin that puppy out.
Found out the instruction manual was left in that 3 year old oven when we turned it on. Thank goodness the bride took the ttowels out before she put the turkey in. Wouldn't have been pretty.
This year we're microwaving the 31 pound bird. Have to cut it into parts to make it all fit but I'm told we can staple and duct tape it back afterwards and it'll look real nice.
Yep, just another Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving to look forward to.
If I were an 8 point deer looking and listening to the goings on in that place I would have high tailed it too!
Stove Top Cornbread Stuffing for us; too much to do & too little time to get ready!
