Sam is officially a Californian

Los Angeles had an Earthquake last night at 8:45PM. It was a 4.7 on the Richter scale and that is not small. Sam & Kelly were at the movies when it happened and they say they felt it. Felt like they were in a roller coaster, he says. Some people at the movie dived under their seats! The kids slept thru it while the baby sitter steadied the 52" TV back at home!
  • Sam, I say, the news says there will be more to come! are you worried?
  • Dad, Sam says, that's like living in Phila on a rainy day and the news says..."more rain to come!"
My son, his wife and their kids are now Californians! YIKES!

I remember we had a Guy that lived across the street on "D" Street that John Mooned thru the front bedroom that we referred to as "Chin"! Anyone else remember "The Chins"?

I remember the softball game a few years ago in Sea Isle. The guy from the left coast took me deep in the first inning (but foul). Following the instructions from my 3rd baseman, "Hot Corner" Cooker, I put the next pitch in his ear. He has not been back to the east coast since. California Dreamin'. By the way, I understand there will be another SB game in Mid-July in SIC. Pea and John E have begun a workout plan to get ready. Are you game?? West Coast, Wedgebreaker, can you make it??

As I remember that softball game from a few years back it was a slow pitch/politically correct, don't try too hard & don't hurt anyone Game until Sam & Jason showed up and they went Back To Back Rooftop Shots to Right Field that woke everyone up! From that point on it was Fun! And the Cooker and the pitcher with the troubled knees hobbled off the field and grabbed their cameras and Natty Lights! Never to return to the Hotly Contested Competition!
