Looking at photos on line and I realize Halloween is a big deal!
And it is Halloween Eve
- I was never one that liked answering the door
- Greating the little buggers who never said "trick or treat"
- Then greating the parents that were always standing near the little buggers
- Then you would get the Teen-agers who would show up after 9PM!
- with No costume
I told a story recently about when Michael & I were trick or treating on Boudinot Street.
Michael went to one side of the street, I went to the other side (the side with the odd #'s)
I knocked, the door was opened, I said "trick or treat" they said Trick!
- about 5 guys (teenagers) threw me on the floor and stole my bag of candy
- I think I was about 11.
- Met up with Michael on the sidewalk & told him not to try that house.
- Michael said nothing, just continued his Harvesting of candy on Halloween.
I went back home, never mentioned anything to anybody, got a fresh A&P bag and
went on my own quest for candy...I was dressed as a bum that Halloween, Michael was also dressed as a bum. John never went trick or treating, Alyce always dressed as a Princess but she just stayed in her room, Timmy was way young at the time & stayed home to give treats away with Mother, Eddie was about 2 and was listening to WIBG on the radio in the kitchen and playing air guitar
Dad was directing traffic @ 8th & Market every Halloween night I remember...
and these nutty grandkids are totally into it!
can you name the costume?
Nobody comes to Blossom Hill on Halloween night
& I am not complaining.

What a fiasco!
So the Blimp ( but not called a blimp by the Military)
disengages itself from a tether in Md & takes
an unpersoned flight to PA?
And the people in charge sent up F16's to look for it!
By the way, the Blimp is 100 yards long
and is part of a $2.9 billion
government run anti whatever program.
I was riding with my friend Able
when we saw the thing go down.
This is what we know about the heavens
9 planets surround the Sun?
How about the other side of the Sun?
How about the Dark side of the Moon?
BUT! if we recycle, cut off Fossil Fuel,
stop exhalling CO2, and eat less
meat the Oceans will cease to rise
and the Glaciers will not melt.
Do you honestly believe this crap?
oh boy oh boy...
I bought a $15.00 pair of slippers last month at Kmart
And i keep getting inundated with
shoe Ads!
Do people actually wear Wing-tips?
30 years ago I probably would have bought these shoes.

I unknowingly chewed up my glasses while attending a Conference on Global Warming run by Liberals @ the local library...listening to their drivel I got to thinking of my sauce...
My spaghetti sauce is not good.
It's store bought stuff.
How does one go about
"making spaghetti sauce from scratch?"
I can make some pretty good meatballs
Sauce I do not do well.
The Conference lasted 2 hours.

John Denver . I still visit his Music.
I was listening to this song. I like the John Denver stuff. First heard his name fron my Big Brother who was in College & told me that The Chad Mitchell Trio performed @ St. Francis College and
this guy stole the Show!
Anyway, I am wondering if any singers, song writers or musicians out there can transform this song from a Trucker coming home to a Soldier coming home.
just wondering.

Very good movie. Have you watched it?
I saw it on one of Maureen's premium channels, I think HBO, but it may have been Showtime.
but for you Netflxers I highly recommend it.

To me this is a relaxing song & a Good one....
Annie also is relaxed, check out the lower right corner to see how relaxed Annie is...
Muggles does not participate in the in-house sessions...
I think I could fish lakes. Ocean fishing I don't do well
A Michigan fisherman broke a 109-year-old record for smallmouth bass in what was the state’s sixth record catch of the year.
Greg Gasiciel of Rhodes, Michigan, was bait-casting a green grub at Hubbard Lake in Alcona County when he hooked and landed a 9.33-pound smallmouth bass on Sunday, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources announced Tuesday.
This is where Alcona County is in Michigan...

For Blog posterity sake...The worst play ever devised in Grade School Football, High School Football, College Football, or Pro Football !
The Colts coach said, "!@#$%^" we needed another blocker.
Who is Trump's go to T shirt & embroidery person?
Verses from Sir Walter Scott's The Lady of the Lake, including "Hail to the Chief who in triumph advances!" were set to music around 1812 by the songwriter James Sanderson (c. 1769 – c. 1841)
The Trump campaign shelled out $822,000 on the logo-emblazoned gear that he sells on a website and routinely tosses to supporters at his rock concert-like campaign events.
I'm thinkin' he will bring back the Hail to the Chief
arrangement when he is elected!

Blue Jays vs. Royals...
we saw it. Took a photo from our Hotel room. We looked at each other
and said we need to go there.
we were tired...an 11 hour drive day. But there was a Game.
So we walked to the Seadium.
Yep
So Jason & I know the layout of the Stadium.
We did not walk back to the Hotel,
we waved down a cab.
And the Royals beat the Blue Jays tonight
5-0
And if you ever drive cross country, drive with someone
that is not in a hurry..
Like stop at a Rest Stop and shoot some prarie dogs with your bee-bee gun, or whatever.
It is a beautiful country we live in
and I would never shoot a prarie dog.
They are cute...sorta like a squirrel is cute...
We need to bring back that Yard Game Croquet.
Only photo of Billy the Kid ever seen.
And that Evil William Koch paid over $2million for it in 2011!
Now we have some others. And I do Love this old Wild West stuff.
For $2 dollars spent in a junk shop somewhere in California...
Collector Randy Guijarro told CNN affiliate KSEE in August that purchasing the photo was a last-minute decision.
"I had just a couple of bucks left, and I found three photographs I liked, and of the three, the oldest tintype, I actually kind of chucked it back in the box," he told the station.
But he said he heard a voice in his head urging him to keep it, so he did.
The Koch brothers are saying they will not be bidding.
They say the Photos are too indistinct
and the $5 million asking price is absurd.
Plus...
they are not Croquet fans.
'Homeland Is Racist' Graffiti Artists Sneak Messages On The Show
One of my 5 favorite shows got snookered. Homeland hired 4 Arab grafitti
artists to paint the Homeland Set...This is what they drew:
The Art work pretty much said Homeland is Racist!
Homeland is not a Series.
Homeland is anti Arab.
Surprisingly, no Director, Producer, Stage Hand or Actor had the grafitti checked out.
The critics of Homeland are ROFL about the Spoof.
Do you think the 4 Arab grafitti artists will ever be hired in Hollwood again?

Luke's 1st Tournament on 10 Foot baskets!
5 seconds to go, Luke on the line to shoot 2.
His Team is down 17-16
and the other Teams Coach was caught on Camera mumbling,
"why did we put Luke on the Line?"
Luke nails 2 from the Free Throw line & they Win The Tournament!
Trust me on this. I don't have video cause his Dad does not know how to use the Internet.
But I do have a "still photo".
I saw the International Live Feed from the BBC and I saw 7 year Luke nailing both Free Throws!
Big Trophy to prove it & Luke is the guy on the right

I am sure you do not sit in the same room with a former High School offensive/ defensive Lineman when you watch the Eagles on TV .
I do...
He constantly talks about the Offensive Line
and how Chip has to quit the scheme theme
& let them plow ahead!
Sorta like this Sports Reporter reported today in the Newspaper..
"With a nod to the state of the offensive line, Kelly had the team do more basic, straight-ahead blocking than it has been doing. With the need to get the running game heading downhill, he put quarterback Sam Bradford under center more often. "
The former high school lineman
pretty much nailed it with the
just let them loose & straight ahead block
whatever that means...
I just wonder how football players learn all those plays...So much regimentation & motion involved!
Oh... and the guy on the left in the photo was also
a football player & actually once scored a Touchdown...
You really should watch at least some of the Baseball Playoff action. Tonight, Chase Utley broke somebodys leg...
LOS ANGELES (AP) — New York Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada broke his right leg when a takeout slide by the Los Angeles Dodgers' Chase Utley flipped the shortstop in the seventh inning of Game 2 of the NL Division Series on Saturday night.
The weather report from LA before the game was:
- 90 Degrees
- Clear skys
- 22% Humidity
Jimmy Rollins said it was just "Chase being Chase"...
Oh yea, and I believe the umps called Chase Safe after further review...
I noticed there were some ants around
I bought a few ant traps...to No effect.
ended up being "a whole lot of them ants"
My Landlord delivered me a Box full of
anti-ant stuff.
Ants were gone about 40 hours later.
It got really gross with hundreds, if not
thousands of ants coming out of the wood work
to sip on the TERRO ant poison.
Now they are gone.
Does your Landlord have a box full of ant poison laying around?

What is a "safety squeeze" and how did it enable the Cubs to beat the Big Bad Cards tonight?
I know what it is because I played for Big Jack for one season of Little League & it drove
the other Coaches Crazy!
the other Coaches Crazy!
The safety squeeze - Baseball By The Yard
www.baseballbytheyard.com/the-safety-squeezeIn a safety squeeze, the runner on third base does not break towards home plate until he sees that the ball is bunted properly. In this case “bunted properly ...Joe Madden (the cubs mgr) used it twice tonightin the same inning & the Cubs scored 5 UnEarned runs! The Cardinal infielders had no clue what to do with theball they caught. 2 errors. The Pitcher then gives up aHome run, puts his head in his hands in the dugoutand gives up...I loved it...Small Ball.Cubs ended up winning 6-3

How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
