This is a Long Post, but this Political Correctness stuff is getting Long in the Tooth
Said an NFL spokesman (via The Houston Chronicle):
"It was not Jerome Boger's intent to exchange a high-five with the player. It began with the referee making the proper administrative signal and resulted in the appearance of an inappropriate action.
"As Vince Young took a knee on the game's final play, Jerome Boger jogged in with his right arm in the air to signify the play was over. That is the proper administrative signal for the referee.
"As Young turned around, he saw Boger approaching the line of scrimmage with his arm raised. As Boger moved toward the line of scrimmage, he started to bring his arm down. However, before he lowered his arm, Young, moving towards the referee, raised his own arm and the two exchanged what appeared to be a quick high-five."
The NFL felt it necessary to issue the above Statement after Sunday's Game when Vince Young scored the Winning Touchdown & the REF appeared to be giving him a "high five"! The NFL does not want the public to believe that the REFS have Favorites! I could go on about the Vince Young story but I don't want to Bore you...The Statement I would make is "welcome back Vince!"
Meanwhile today, it was reported that 3 Navy Seals captured the guy that ordered the 2 Americans Hung from the Bridge in Iraq about 5 years ago and burned their bodies. Remember that? When they had people on camera Dancing on the Bridge? Well, the Navy Seals that caught the Guy responsible for that allegedly punched the Guy in the face while subduing him. The Navy Seals have now been Charged with Assault.
- I think Vince Young, the Ref and the Navy Seals should all get High Fives!
- I guess I am in the Minority..

What is mince meat?
I was at BJ's today...
- I saw Perdue turkeys, Fresh, not Frozen, @ .99cents per pound. I thought, that's a good deal. From BJ's I went to the Lafayette Hill Market. They had Organic Turkeys for $4.99 per pound! Why does an Organic Turkey cost $4.00 more per pound than a non-Organic Turkey? And what makes a Turkey Organic?
- By the way...Bill Zee and Aaron (Uncle Buck) are planning on doing a "hot boiled turkey"

In my opinion (IMO)...And as strange as it may seem,
- New Orleans kicked their butt and are running out of Gas
- Oakland was a Fluke
- The Cowboys and Tony are a Bunch of Phonies
- The game tonite vs the Bears shows me a lot, the Eagles are Good!
- Who else beat the Eagles?
- Meanwhile, I think Jay Cutler is the Biggest WooWoo in the NFL !

Happy Veteran's Day Pea... and We Want a Story...
First of all, thanks Pea for serving our country and Happy Veterans Day. What a great country we have. I love hearing stories about your time in the Army. The time you got claustrophobia while in the bunker, the whizzing bullets flying by your head which you couldn’t hear and the time every one “Locked and Loaded”… But, there is one story which is non-army related, that I want to hear about in further detail…
Can you tell us the story about the time you “apparently” jumped off the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge? To me and my friend’s it is legend, but I want some proof! Were any McKendry Brothers around to witness this Dare Devil act? What was the Cooker doing at this time? Was The Stoneman waiting for a bus to take him up to New York? What year was this? What time of day did this occur? Did the Bridge Toll Keeper say anything to you? What side did you swim to after jumping?
Please give us some insight on this…

Did we Torture OUR DAD like this ?
Stay Classy San Diego...
So, this post would have been a lot more exciting if the Eagles didn’t crap the bed this past Sunday and lose to the Cowboys. But, I am going to San Diego with a group of 1,500+ screaming Eagles fans. The plan is to leave Thursday after work, around 5:00. Fly direct to San Diego and arrive around 10:00 PM West coast time. Thursday night should be fun as we will be claiming our areas in and around Mission Beach. Friday is a chill day. Nothing planned except sitting by the pool/beach and throwing the football around. We may try some Pacific Ocean Deep Sea Fishing. We have to se how the weather is.
Saturday we start cranking it up. Sam and a few friends (Maybe Chris, haven’t talked to him yet) will be making the trip down to San Diego from Los Angeles. All day bar crawl followed by a pep rally party at the world famous Wave House Bar. Apparently they have an outdoor bar with wave machine. People get up there and try to surf. I’d like to see The Cooker and The Pea make it out on a kayak.
Sunday starts early. We have a 7:30 am bus picking us up and taking us to the Chargers Stadium. Our group has rented out a gated practice field and we have a 2,000+ person tailgate scheduled. They have a stage, live music, beer trucks, food, etc… McKendry Brothers, Where you at?????? After we do our tailgate, we will walk into Charger Stadium and take over the upper deck. The Chargers have sold our group the entire section in the upper end zone. Look for us and listen for the E-A-G-L-E-S chants…
So, we need a win! The past two years we have traveled to Green Bay and Chicago. All losses! We are due but this is a tough test for Donovan and the Eagles. They really need to get this win. If I don’t die or end up in jail this weekend, I will update the PEA Blog from San Diego.

NFL FOOTBALL...it absolutely Slays me...
- These Teams play in Friggin New Jersey and call themselves New York!
- The Politicians in New Jersey should insist that these Teams be cited as being from NJ if they want to Play in New Jersey...

How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
