The 2008 "Weigh In Weigh Out" Competition will Commence on Monday, January 7, 2008 . There are Three simple Rules....

• *You're On Your Own (YOYO)...No Partners to carry you...
• *You must post your weight by the "start up date" and state the ID of the person that witnessed your "Weigh In"... ! (not that we don't Trust you)

*You must post at least TWO personal photos of your Progress (or lack thereof) during the Competition.

Last year people complained about the length of time that WIWO went on, so this year we are "shortening" the time frame. Instead of the 21 Weeks and 4 days we suffered thru last year, we are cutting the Competition down to just 21 Weeks this Year !

• WIWO will end on Saturday, May 31, 2008...

There will be a NEW "WIWO BLOG" site to post your weight/photo/progress/work-out routine/comments/failures/goals/frustrations/calls for help/etal... So be sure to check back before 01/07/2008 ! ....YIKES!....whadayaknow...the WIWO site is UP! i am more clever than even i know...

How many SOLO cups are enough? I'm not talking College Beer Bash here, I am talking Home Entertainment.

Eighteen people...4 College Age...14 Oldies.

Would you think 30 SOLO cups would be enough? Especially since some people are drinking from "high-ball" glasses and others' from Beer bottles or cans.

I did some Exploring on what the Logistics would be to go see the Two Ohio Halls. The dates I used were July 11 thru July 16...

• Canton is about a One Hour drive from Clev.(57 miles away)
• To fly from Phila to Clev + Hotel + Car would run about $500 per person
• I used 6 people to figure cause that's the MAX the site would allow(more = cheaper)
• Most surprising thing was that of the 25 Hotels listed, only 7 had availability on those Dates
• Seems to be a "Popular" Trip

Troy ACHEman (he of the $5.00 TIP) just said that the Cowboys went offside because these Offenses have gotten "so sophisticated"...he went on to say that when a QB is in the "Shotgun" it used to be that when the QB moved his leg, they would make the "snap"...Now, he said, they pre-arrange it in the Huddle that the ball "may" be centered on the 2nd or 3rd leg movement...

With these revelations from a "Hall of Famer", I now understand why head coaches sleep in their offices and need 16 Assistant Coaches! How else could they come up with such innovative and "sophisticated" strategies...!

Uncle John and I went to the Giants and Eagles game this past Sunday. We had an awesome time. Everything was great... except for the actual game. Can't Akers kick anymore? Donovan had the team in position to win it. Ahhh, that's for another blog. As I was sitting next to my godfather the memories of the past kept popping into my head. I reminisced about the times when he would take my brother and I down to the Palestra or to Textile to watch a basketball game. It felt like the old days. I remember we once had a discussion about this monster 7 footer coming out of LSU. The guy was a freshman and he was dominating the NCAA... Turned out to be Shaquille O'Neill. Uncle John and I talked sports the entire day. For some reason I decided to "Google" John McKendry today... WOW!!! What a surprise! HE IS THE LONE GUNMAN!!! I never knew he was capable of this...
